I had a great experience at Excel Hotel Tokyu. The free shuttle bus to Sapporo in the morning was extremely convenient, making it easy for me to explore the city. The fact that the Bus resort liner to Niseko stops at the hotel was a huge bonus as well. The staff went above and beyond, preparing our rooms in advance and keeping our parcels and luggage before we arrived. The price of the hotel was very reasonable for a 4-star property, and it's also located close to the MRT, making transportation a breeze.

The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to a subway station and several good restaurants. You won't have trouble finding tasty food nearby. there is a Secomart shop across the road, which is always handy. The rooms are modern, cozy, and well-maintained. The bathroom facilities are segregated, providing a peaceful, comfortable experience during your stay. the staff always greets guests with smiles everywhere around the hotel.
There were some downsides, and the hotel staff was not always uniformly professional.

I had a truly amazing stay at this hotel. The rooms were incredibly spacious, especially compared to other hotels I've stayed in. It was such a pleasant surprise to have a wide window that provided a stunning view of the city and the surrounding mountains. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet area yet still within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The staff were so welcoming and helpful, making sure I had everything I needed. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a wide variety of delicious food options to choose from. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the sanitary measures taken by the staff.
This place is highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Great location within a bustling, entertainment district renowned for its numerous restaurants and shops. The huge rooms were clean and comfy with modern amenities for a perfect stay. One of the best features was the shuttle service that ran almost every daylight hour, and the staff was accommodating, helpful and courteous with information on the best spots to tour.
The language barrier was a struggle, as there were inconsistencies in the language translation of the food items and their ingredients making it tough to identify dishes that contained allergens. There was no 24-hour laundry service or room service for added convenience.

The hotel had two convenience stores nearby which was really convenient. The room we booked was pretty spacious and had a good view of the city. The staff was helpful whenever we asked for directions or recommendations for activities nearby.
The hotel looked worn out and in need of renovation. The pipes were pretty loud and kept us up at night.
